EX-NAVY SEAL GOES TO SCHOOL ON THE NEW GI BILL

A college professor, an avowed atheist and active in the ACLU, was teaching his class. He shocked several of his students when he flatly stated that for the last time he was going to prove there was no God. Addressing the ceiling he shouted: "GOD, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 minutes!!!!!" The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by. “I’m waiting God, if you're real knock me off this platform!!!!" Again after 4 minutes, the professor taunted God saying, "Here I am, God!!! I'm still waiting!!! "His count down got down to the last couple of minutes when a SEAL, just released from the Navy after serving in Afghanistan and Iraq and newly registered in the class, walked up to the Professor. The SEAL hit him full force in the face, and sent the Professor tumbling from his lofty platform. The Professor was out cold!! The students were stunned and shocked. They began to babble in confusion. The SEAL nonchalantly took his seat in the front row and sat silent. The class looked at him and fell silent...waiting. Eventually, the professor came to and was noticeably shaken. He looked at the SEAL in the front row. When the professor regained his senses and could speak, he asked: "What is the matter with you? Why did you do that? "God was really busy, protecting America's soldiers, who are protecting your right to say whatever stupid thing comes to your mind!!! So he sent me!!"

On the 'Spirit of Aloha'

Aloha is the power of God The Great Spirit seeking to unite what is separated in the world - the power that unites heart with heart, soul with soul, life with life, culture with culture, race with race, nation with nation, (and man with woman).

Aloha is the power that can reunite when a quarrel has brought separation. Aloha is the power that reunites individuals with themselves when they become separated from the image of God the Great Spirit within. Thus, when a Person or a People live in the spirit of Aloha, they live in the spirit of God the Great Spirit.

Aloha consists of this attitude of heart, above negativism, above legalism. It is the unconditional desire to promote the true good of other people in a friendly spirit, out of a sense of kinship.

Aloha seeks to do well, with no conditions attached. We do not do good only to those who do good to us. One of the sweetest things about the love of God the Great Spirit, about Aloha, is that it welcomes the stranger and seeks his and her good. A person, who has the spirit of Aloha, loves even when the love is not returned. In addition, such is the love of God the Great Spirit.

Aloha, does not exploit a people or keep them in ignorance and subservience. Rather, it shares the sorrows and joys of people. It seeks to promote the true good of others.

Today, one of the deepest needs of humankind is the need to feel a sense of kinship, one with another. Truly all humankind belongs together.

From the beginning, all humankind has been called into being, nourished, watched over by the love of God the Great Spirit.

The real Golden Rule is Aloha. This is the way of life we shall affirm.

Let us affirm forever what we really are - for Aloha is the spirit of God the Great Spirit at work in you and in me and in the world, uniting what is separated, overcoming darkness and death, bringing new light and life to all who sit in the darkness of fear, guiding the feet of humankind into the way of peace.

The Pledge of Allegiance

When I was a small boy in Vincennes, Indiana, I heard, I think, one of the most outstanding speeches I ever heard in my life. I think it compares with the Sermon on the Mount, Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, and Socrates’ Speech to the Students.

We had just finished reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, and he [Mr. Lasswell, the Principal of Vincennes High School] called us all together, and he says, “Uh, boys and girls, I have been listening to you recite the Pledge of Allegiance all semester, and it seems that it has become monotonous to you. Or, could it be, you do not understand the meaning of each word? If I may, I would like to recite the pledge, and give you a definition for each word:

I -- Me; an individual; a committee of one.

Pledge -- Dedicate all of my worldly good to give without self-pity.

Allegiance -- My love and my devotion.

To the Flag -- Our standard. “Old Glory”; a symbol of courage. And wherever she waves, there is respect, because your loyalty has given her a dignity that shouts “Freedom is everybody's job.”

of the United -- That means we have all come together.

States -- Individual communities that have united into 48 great states; 48 individual communities with pride and dignity and purpose; all divided by imaginary boundaries, yet united to a common cause, and that’s love of country, of America.

And to the Republic -- A Republic: a sovereign state in which power is invested into the representatives chosen by the people to govern; and the government is the people; and it's from the people to the leaders, not from the leaders to the people.

For which it stands-

One Nation -- Meaning "so blessed by God."

Indivisible -- Incapable of being divided.

With Liberty -- Which is freedom; the right of power for one to live his own life without fears, threats, or any sort of retaliation.

And Justice -- The principle and qualities of dealing fairly with others.

For All -- For All. That means, boys and girls, it's as much your country as it is mine.

Now let me hear you recite the Pledge of Allegiance:

I pledge allegiance
to the Flag of the United States of America,
and to the Republic, for which it stands;
one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Since I was a small boy, two states have been added to our country, and two words have been added to the Pledge of Allegiance: Under God. Wouldn't it be a pity if someone said, "That is a prayer" -- and that be eliminated from our schools, too?

As Reverend Wright would say,
"The buzzzards are coming home to roost! "

Debt, Deflation, and Depression
All governments are now crippled with massive debt, and a souring world economy.

Detroit Disaster
The Big Three Automakers are headed to bankruptcy, accelerated by debt,
unemployment, and the tightening of consumer credit. With, losses mounting into billions as the
economy slows even further!

Municipal Meltdown

New Jersey has the highest debt per ca pita than any other state in the country. New York,

California, Georgia, and many other states are facing massive deficits. Major metropolitan

cities are facing bankruptcy.

Real estate Panic
As the credit markets tighten, the availability of new loans are drying up. More
secondary lenders are failing; and, savings banks are shutting down their mortgage divisions.
Home sales will plummet even further. The huge inventory of foreclosed real estate in financial
institutions, also with builders and homeowners, will force them to sell despite depressed prices.

Devaluation of real estate will occur faster than during the Great Depression.

In 2009, we will see the commercial real estate market collapse in the same way as the residential housing market did in 2008.

Insurance Company Failures
Worlds largest insurer, AIG, has already blown through the 150 billion government bailout
money from 2008.
Hartford Financial lost almost four-fifths of it stock value from 2008.
Dutch owned Transamerica Corporation is down a whopping 60%.

The American tax payers are now major stock holders in public corporations and has money pissed away on foreign governments. If you and I went to the bank and wanted to borrow money, it would be for a specific purpose. Not for bonuses, lavish jets, or for investing billions of US taxpayer money in a foriegn country (GM put 1 billion in Brazil). We would not reward the people that caused your financial problems. They should be fired. If we used the money we had borrowed in any other way it would be fraud; and, we would be charged with a criminal offense.

And, the list doesn't stop. It just goes on and on. Taller than a South Georgia Pine...........

America can no longer afford to keep bailing out private companies, propping up foreign
banks, and governments.
It is time we take care of the good'ol U.S. of A first!
